AREND'S SAMOSET-ON-THE-SOUND
2 SAMOSET AVENUE
Built in 1873 for Captain Tillinghast of the Oak Bluffs Land & Wharf Company, the house sits directly across from the Oak Bluffs Town Beach and boasts unobstructed views of Nantucket Sound, the Steamship Authority ferry dock and Cape Pogue Lighthouse on Chappaquiddick Island.
Conveniently located only a few minutes walk from the Oak Bluffs business district, the picturesque harbor and ferry service to and from several ports, the inn features spacious rooms with either private or shared baths, and a continental breakfast daily.
The Inn is open from Memorial Day through Columbus Day.

The Dockside Inn is a romantic Inn built in 1989, and has the conveniences of a new modern Inn. There are 17 regular guest rooms and five apartment suites with kitchen facilities. Most rooms have Queen beds, some two. Most guest rooms sleep 2 persons, the apartments sleep 4 to 5 persons. One has a Jacuzzi tub, one a roof deck. All feature air conditioning and heat, and are comfortably furnished for your vacation. There is Cable TV and a lending library of VCR tapes and CD's. A 6 person hot tub awaits your soaking those sore muscles after a day of hiking or biking.

The atmosphere is decidedly casual with an emphasis on friendliness and relaxation. Miles of beaches, fine restaurants, churches, shops, movie theatres, tennis courts and island ferry services are all within walking distance. The Wesley Hotel is one of the largest Ocean-front hotels on the Island. Relax and enjoy the view of the harbor from the rocking chairs on our spacious front porch, or visit with friends in our Victorian lobby sitting areas.
Wesley Hotel consists of two Victorian style buildings located next to each other: Main Building and the Wesley Arms. There are five floors in the Main building and three in the Wesley Arms. The Wesley Hotel currently offers 95 rooms all with private baths, air conditioning, heat and satellite TV. The Wesley Arms has an elevator.
